Today...

I went to the dentist. Nothing dramatic, no tranquilizers needed to calm the nerves, no blindfold just the dark protective glasses they give you now, no pain. Well, just the bill - £102 !!! Dental treatment under Labour. Nice one Tony! Wouldn't mind if I had been in pain, had a major problem, but it was just the Hygienist and a minor filling, so small it did not need an injection of anaesthetic, it was more what I call a polyfiller job. I dread to think what a wisdom tooth extraction would cost. And there is no choice. Have you tried to find a NHS dentist? Its nigh on impossible.
