Wandered along the river today and made the detour over the small footbridge, half hoping, curious... they were still there! And.... oooooh! babies. They had hatched! Was so pleased to be able to capture them on camera. No ugly ducklings. No, not these :)

What a lovely pic - they look very sweet! It's been nice to see that Springwatch programme on the BBC again too - it's nice to see some telly time devoted to getting people interested in our wildlife.

Was really lucky to get so close to them without the cob doing a wobbly,
quite exciting. :)
Been watching SpringWatch too, great programme that does a lot to help, as you say. I think my favourites are the Scottish otter cubs, so very playful and so cute! :)
