A Day in the garden...

The sun was shining, puffy clouds sailing in an ocean of blue
Birds were singing and the frogs were too
So, not one to hide my talents under a bushel
I too joined in and sang-a-long with Russell

Hahaha Go on, you can groan. It's terrible, but I was in such a good mood today after a couple of days in the doldrums so maybe silly is a little overdue. I'd been pottering about indoors listening to CD's, the volume turned up, and as 'The Voice', Russell Watson, drifted through the rooms, filling the quiet places with Puccini's Nessun Dorma (one of my favourites) soon my grey mood dissipated and I was singing (??) along
"Ma il mio mistero e chiuso in me, il nome mio nessun sapra! ..."

Impressive eh! haha Well, one way to learn the language - just wait until I try the accent! Katherine Jenkins - "eat your heart out!" Eww. taken literally, isn't that an awful expression.
So, spirits restored I put on my jeans and went out into the garden still singing and humming and no doubt spurring the neighbours into action by speed dialing the RSPCA fearing some poor cat was being mistreated...

Tee hee - very good! I'm all for silly. Saturday was sunny here and rather uplifting, although it's been gloomy again since, unfortunately.
