Had a really lovely walk yesterday, full of discovery and colour. Glorious blue skies, field upon field of sweet smelling butter-yellow rape, deep green verges and hedgerows resplendent with May blossom.
And
a small wood surrounded by water.
Soft twilight greens, deep, dark shadows, the rustle of dry leaves, sudden glimpses of bright shimmering light and tall, tall trees that make you feel so small in a land of giants..
