Lion's Cove

Lions' Cove - That wasn't its name but look at those two large rocks and you can see why we gave it that name. Clamber over those smaller rocks and a small, almost hidden, cove lays beyond. The peninsula had so many such coves; this one was found by going down a steep forest clad hill. (See "There is a forest..." post). Down and down through alternating shafts of sunlight and shadow and worlds of dim green and then suddenly through a gap in the trees there is a flash of gold a shimmer of blue. Even though you half expect it, seeing the beach and ocean is still a beautiful surprise.
