An evening walk


Light spilling from an open door, warm, inviting, comforting.
A car's headlights spear on the rain-washed road and as I near the church the bells begin to ring in happy festive peals. It is the last day of August and the nights are drawing in.

That's a fine spire! The evenings are definitely drawing in a bit now. Although I know things haven't got really bad until I have to sit inside at the pub. ;-)

Great little church RO, I think it has one of the highest spires in the area.
